Thelma & Louise
Our Army Community Group of Okinawa meets once a month for a social. Our February Social was one of the BEST yet. We were told to arrive by 530pm. The rules were explained and we were given our list. We formed groups by counting off 1-4. All the ones formed a group and so on. We had until 700pm to complete our list and for every minute you arrived late you had a point deducted. My team members were Mineko, Mary Faye and James Tamura. We were the first team to arrive back and had one item missing from our list. Over all our team came in 3rd place.
Kudos to Valerie for organizing this social!

How gross is this?
I was organizing and cleaning our spare bedroom. In that room we have a bed, 2 night stands, a dresser and chest of drawers. While putting something away I noticed some white stuff ont he side of the dresser. Not just a little but quite a bit. I had this odd feeling it could be mold but the white appearance made me have second thoughts. I grabbed some Lysol wipes and wiped it down. Sure enough the towel was green, ugh. Had stuff on both sides. We are now on a mission to find a dehumidifier for our house.

Cherry Blossom Festival
What an absolutely amazing site. Although I did not go this year, I thought I would at least post pictures of the beautiful cherry blossom trees we saw last year in Nago. We were planning to go however the trip was the day after our evening out plus the weather had been extremely unpredictable. With that said we opted out of going. Hope fully Cesario and I will get to go next year.

Beauty
I had taken the girls to Torii Station to run around at our make shift dog park. On our way home I had to pull off for pictures. I have learned to carry my camera in my purse because you never know when a picture moment will arise.
Having been born and raised in Arizona I have been able to witness many beautiful sunsets. I never learned to appreciate them as I have living here in Okinawa. We get some of the most remarkable sunsets. Here is one of the many I will post.
